The V4 Leadership Youth Camp in Zamość brought together young people from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary for an unforgettable five-day experience. Designed to develop leadership, cooperation, and critical thinking skills, the camp fostered international friendships and cultural exchange. Each day was filled with engaging workshops, exciting activities, and cultural evenings that showcased the diversity and richness of the Visegrad nations.

The first day of the camp focused on team building and communication skills. Polish expert Agata Wiatr led an engaging workshop that helped participants enhance their ability to express themselves effectively. Icebreaker games set a welcoming tone, making it easy for everyone to bond and feel like a family.
In the afternoon, the Polish team organized an interactive city game that took participants through the charming streets of Zamość. This activity allowed international participants to discover the city’s history and beauty in a unique and engaging way. The first day set the stage for a week full of learning, friendships, and unforgettable moments.

On the second day, the focus shifted to collaboration and cooperation. Czech expert Anna Benišová led a dynamic workshop that emphasized the importance of teamwork, conflict resolution, and mutual support. Through hands-on activities, participants developed essential skills that would help them in leadership roles.
The evening was dedicated to Czech culture, with traditional delicacies, an energetic Polka dance session, and a friendly quiz. The day strongly reinforced the idea that working together brings out the best in everyone and creates lasting connections.

Slovakian expert Lukáš Hrošovský took the lead on the third day, guiding participants through an engaging and thought-provoking critical thinking workshop. The workshop provided valuable tools to recognize manipulation, differentiate between facts and opinions, and make well-informed decisions.
The session sparked deep discussions and broadened perspectives, equipping young leaders with the ability to analyze information critically. The day concluded with a Slovak cultural evening featuring traditional games and a creatively designed quiz, making learning fun and engaging.

Creativity was the central theme of the fourth day, with Hungarian expert Robert Gombasi leading an inspiring workshop on innovative leadership. Through stimulating exercises, participants explored ways to think outside the box, express their ideas boldly, and inspire change within their communities.
The Hungarian Cultural Evening brought a blend of heritage and humor, offering insights into Hungary’s traditions and contemporary issues with a lighthearted twist. The day left participants feeling motivated to embrace their creative potential in leadership roles.

The final day was marked by a significant milestone as participants presented their ideas and achievements to the Youth Council and city representatives, including Mayor Rafał Zwolak. This was a proud moment, as young leaders had the opportunity to share their visions with esteemed guests.

After the official session, participants visited the Zamość Zoo for a well-deserved moment of relaxation and enjoyment. The camp ended on a high note, filled with laughter, strengthened friendships, and cherished memories.

The V4 Leadership Youth Camp was more than just a five-day event; it was a transformative experience that empowered young people to grow as leaders, embrace cultural diversity, and build lasting connections. The friendships and skills gained during this camp will continue to inspire participants as they take on leadership roles in their communities.
