On the occasion of the 650th anniversary of the written mention of Dubí, local activists organized an event, a celebration of a common past. The aim of which was to honour their ancestors and gather the natives and inhabitants of Dubí. Part of this celebration was the acquisition of the coat of arms of Dubie, which is to encourage greater pride in their ancestors and their roots.
During the event, a solemn ceremony took place, at which the Chief State Councilor for Heraldry, Kerlod Slovakia PhDr. Ladislav Vrtel presented the coat of arms of Dubie in historical clothing. The professor informed that the creation of the coat of arms was based on an old Oak seal, which is based on a golden sunflower on a green background.
